MICDS 14, Westminster 11
Sophomore Josie Ciaramita scored a career-high seven goals and senior goalie Sophia Huddleston made 13 saves as the Rams overcame a strong Westminster effort.
Ciaramata scored four of the first five goals for the Rams, and her laser early in the fourth quarter gave MICDS a 14-6 lead before the Wildcats made it interesting.
Westminster senior Izzy Russell scored a career-high four goals, including three in the final seven minutes. Powered by five assists from sophomore Kamia Cleveland, the Wildcats scored three unanswered goals to end the first half and five unanswered to end the second half.
MICDS (8-1), which defeated Westminster (6-5) for the 16th successive time, won by the second smallest margin of victory during that span.

Eureka 12, St. Joseph’s 11 (OT)

Junior Amelia Craig netted the game-winning goal in overtime as the Wildcats completed a late game comeback to defeat St. Joe’s for the third consecutive time. Eureka (10-2) trailed 8-6 after three quarters before exploding for five goals in the fourth.
St. Joseph’s (12-5) received four goals from senior Janie Jackson, who raised her area-leading point total to 103, and three from junior Shannon Bryan.
Marquette 14, O’Fallon 8
Senior Marin Lally scored seven goals and sophomore goalie Brynn Clark made a career-high 20 saves as the Mustangs defeated O’Fallon in an interstate clash. Lally has scored at least seven goals in four of the seven games she has played this season.
Marquette (4-5), a final four team last season, also received a hat trick from senior Sophie DeKraker and a two-goal effort from junior Phoebe Yoder to snap a three-game losing streak.
O’Fallon (7-5) was powered by a six-goal performance by senior Gracie Favela, which included the 200th goal of her career. Senior goalie Octavia Bookman made nine saves.
The Panthers, which went 3-5 against Missouri teams, will close out the regular season with three games against teams from Illinois before beginning IHSA tournament play.
