The final regular season list of Field Hockey Phenoms, sponsored by Athletic Republic, contains top performers who flourished during the dates of Oct. 1-18 and are in top form as the postseason begins.
Forwards
Evie Harris, senior, Visitation (feature photo)
The only senior on the Vivettes roster, Harris put the team on her back during a four-game winning streak to close out the regular season, scoring 11 goals in that stretch. She scored once against Notre Dame, twice against Westminster and four times against both Parkway West and Oakville, helping Visitation earn a No. 11 seed in the Missouri State Field Hockey Tournament.
Maddie Lary, sophomore, Pembroke Hill
In her first year playing field hockey, Lary broke the Pembroke Hill school record with her 20th goal of the season. Blending quickness, tenacity and a team-oriented approach, Lary helped Pembroke Hill earn a No. 12 seed in the Missouri State Field Hockey Tournament.
Addison Proffitt, senior, Eureka
A dynamic attacker, Proffitt helped Eureka score the second-most goals in program history. She scored five goals and added five assists over the final two weeks and currently leads the Wildcats in both shots attempted and shots on goal. The senior playmaker leads her team into action against Lindbergh in the No. 16 vs 17 game.
Midfielders

Hadley Krewet, junior, Kirkwood
Krewet scored the game-winning goal in overtime to propel the Pioneers to a 1-0 victory over Cor Jesu, the first win over the Chargers since the turn of the century, spanning 19 games. She also scored the game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory over Westminster in the season finale, helping Kirkwood earn the No. 7 seed in the Missouri State Field Hockey Tournament.
Hazel Stewart, junior, Principia playing for Whitfield
The heartbeat of the Warriors’ midfield, Stewart scored a beautiful, reverse stick goal against Eureka and scored twice against Pattonville in consecutive days. Skillful, speedy and possessing a great tackle, Stewart emerged as a leader and a go-to player for Whitfield this season.
Jenna Wasserman, senior, University City playing with United
The top scorer on United, the senior captain Wasserman continued to be an offensive force with a four-game goal-scoring streak. She scored the game winner in a 1-0 victory over Parkway Central, then continued her tear by scoring a goal against Parkway West, Lafayette and Edwardsville while adding a pair of assists in the process. She ended the regular season with 18 goals.
Mackenzie Durbin, senior, Ladue
A key contributor on the Rams’ offensive and defensive corner unit, Durbin’s endline to endline play helped Ladue earn a No. 5 seed in the Missouri State Field Hockey Tournament. She scored 11 goals and added nine assists this season, including a goal and two assists in the season finale against Lindbergh.
Defense

Adela Gingrich, senior, Ladue
A speedster with high-level game awareness, Gingrich helped Ladue yield only one goal during conference play, secure a Suburban Yellow Conference championship. Gingrich is the rush on defensive corners, an interceptor in transition and powerful clearer of the ball, who helped the Rams go 15-5 and earn a No. 5 seed in the Missouri State Field Hockey Tournament.
Lauren Hagan, junior, Villa Duchesne
A three-year starter, Hagan plays center back for a Villa Duchesne teams that outscored opponents 31-2 over its final five games of the regular season. Her quickness, field vision and tackling ability thwart scoring chances before they become dangerous. She also contributed an assist against Louisville Ballard and Cor Jesu.

Goalie
Colby Durbin, senior, Eureka
Durbin put together back-to-back masterpieces with a 19-save performance against Westminster and an 18-save effort against Summit. Her 247 career saves set a school record, and she became the third Wildcats’ goalie to make more than 100 saves in a season. Durbin ranks second in the STL-area with an .863 save percentage.
Fofie Holt, junior, Marquette
Holt made 58 saves over the Mustangs’ final six games, including an impressive 26 against John Burroughs in a 5-0 setback in the season finale. Holt’s 120 total saves is tied for sixth in the STL-area and she helped Marquette earn a No. 13 seed in the Missouri State Field Hockey Tournament.
The 2025 State Field Hockey Tournament gets underway this week. The top eight seeds begin play Saturday:
